Just Being, Realistic

I'm going to be honest, not everyone has the time to have a conversation with the Lord before the rest of the family gets up in the morning. Maybe, your a mother or father, who's a multi-tasker, who lays out the school/work outfits the night before, prepares the breakfast for the entire family and has a wife or husband, who's a heavy sleepier and only gets up when they smell that warm and tasty coffee or tea that you prepare for them ...

While your running around the entire house or apartment,  when do you have time to squeeze in a pow wow with God? Please, forgive me if it sounds as if I'm trying to make you feel guilty? On account of, that isn't my intention. As a wife of 26 1/2 years, a mother of 4 college attending sons and a Pastor Ministry with my hubby, too, I know what your going through ...

Sometimes, I feel like Speedy Gonzalez ... #Hehehe, Why you ask? Pull up a chair, pour yourself a cup of coffee, hot cocoa or tea and pay attention to this? Yes, multi-tasking is great and benefits a lot of people; but if your not careful you could miss out on your one-on-one time with your Heavenly Father. That doesn't mean that everything will pill up, your home will look like a train wreck and everyone will get upset. It just means that you'll have more time to receive a comforting word from God, have old wounds healed and be able to a happier wife/husband, mom/dad and even co-worker ...

Matthew 6:33 (NCV) -  Seek first God’s kingdom and what God wants. Then all your other needs will be met as well.

Have a Blessed Wednesday Everyone ...

Triple the Interest

Indeed, life can sometimes be full of trials and tribulations; but remember that God permits them, in order, to prepare you for something awesome and new that's coming your way. Therefore, shut the door on those painful memories and open your heart to what Jesus Christ has in store for you ...

Without a doubt, He'll provide you with peace of mind, help you forgive and comfort you when no one else knows how. He's a master when it comes to consoling you, directing your path and sprinkling it with a sincere love, too. Now, go to bed and cuddle up with this bible verse ...

Isaiah 41:10 (HCSB) - Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.

Take all of the above to the bank and you'll receive triple the interest and have a lovely Sunday in Jesus Christ name ... #Amen,
